Am I going overboard with my ads???

Please Help! I need some advice.

I recently got booted from adsense because my dating site was considered "too adult"...even though I worked hard to keep it clean. I was earning about $100/day and then I was making nothing. I tried some other ad agencies, but made about $2 a day for the same amount of clicks (adbrite and clicksor are a big joke).

So I was forced to turn my site into an adult dating site, even though I didn't want to. Now I'm back to making about $100/day with my adult ads.

However, I'm not sure if I'm going overboard with too many ads. Also, I need some advice on the best ad placement to maximize profit without making my site look like I've totally sold out.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

 

Jason, jason, jason. Its been awhile. You remember me.
If I had known that you were making $100/day on those sites then when I recommended you add in adsense and gave you all of my screenshots of suggestions, I would've begged for a 10% cut.
You seriously are, at least, 5 times more successful than me online. I'm happy for you.

Anyway, about the ads.
as far as ustillup is the ads are fine. People should expect a little more ads in an adult related site. You don't even have that much, but since your community is not used to ads better leave it the way it is. You have good profit so don't upset it.
the only suggestion is somehow line up that top banner with the logo. Right now it's just sitting in the top corner. It looks a little funny being flushed against the top.

Ya, the site was doing pretty good and then Google cut me off. I successfully appealed the first time. However, the second time they cut me off they insisted their decision was final. Oh well. Took a bit of time, but I'm finally making about what I was making when I got cut off.

I agree 100% with the top banner ad. It needs to be moved over.

Hey, do you like that I finally got rid of the girls on the sides (of the template)? I know that was one of your suggestions in the past.

And I haven't forgot ...If I ever get really successful I'll make sure I pay you back for all your time and hard work. You were truly awesome!

Right now $3,000/month is nice...but still not enough to quit my day job. I'm still naive enough to think that site might do really well one day (like over $5,000/month)

I'm pretty surprised you were able to manage going on that long with your niche. Obviously they didn't search through the pictures or visit the chat.

Just open the file with the banner and right before the code put in a <br> and it'll go down a line.

I think you should get ready soon. $3K a month is above general United States average monthly wage. Maybe turns out to be $62 after taxes. that's fairly good, and its only the beginning. If you work at home then you can setup an 8hr schedule and punch in 2hours a day doing press releases and any other free advertising systems. The big question is "Do you prefer your day job over this?"

 

This is some really great advice especially for people who have not been out on their own before.

Be calm, Adsense bans a lot of users.. I can't find too and good Adsense Altenative, so we should start something different. Can you tell me more about these adult ads?
