Am I doing something wrong?

    I have adsense on my various site but have never had much luck. Last week I decided to get started and give it a try on my newer site. http://www.forumfocus.net

    I have text based ads on the side.
    From 7 clicks I have only made 4 cents. Is that normal?

    For sure that your getting target ads?
    Is your site not showing PSA or stuff?

    Honestly the content showing up is not related to my website for the most part. Is there anyway to get the links changed to SEO and website boosting sites?

    The clicks are definitly going through and all. I have never had much luck with adsense so that is why I am asking.

    Forum have low ctr unless your placement is good..like that of googlecommunity.com.. you should have ads on posts, search pages, threads, etc..

    Try implementing some contests, promotions, or referral incentives to members so that your visitors will grow. more visitors would mean morechances of clicks on your ads.
