I am new to affiliate marketing, and I was hoping some of you could help me out...Right now, I am promoting 3 different CB products, and I have a seperate site set up for each one. I understand that these programs are a little bit out of date, but the person who got me started with affiliate marketing is promoting the same ones, and they are seeing at least 3 sales per day. Thats all I'm looking for is about 2-5 sales per day... Since i have no money to spend on advertising or adwords, i am just using article marketing on ezine to promote my sites and drive traffic. I started about one week ago, and I have gotten around 250 hops TOTAL since my first day (for all the programs combined), but have made 0 sales...my websites are: www.ConvertGasToWater.com www.SolarPanelSavings.info www.HowToTreatEczema.info ...any help is GREATLY appreciated...I am working and am desperate for this money on the side, so i really hope it works out...thanks again to all of those who help!
Alright, I couldn't view the last two URL's for some reason, but anyway... let's assume your 250 hops is divided equally between all three sites, this gives us only 83 hops per site which is not nearly enough to test if a product is profitable. Ask yourself the questions - are my vistors targeted? where are they coming from? whats my competition like? 3 key questions you're going to want to answer, statistics play a big part in affiliate marketing especially when you want to scale things up (development) track everything. I'd recommend a free tracker like Google Analytics (http://www.google.com/analytics/) Your first site looks kind of old, something that would have been around in the lates 90's up to about 2003 perhaps, ditch the old graphics, old logo and too tabular style review layout. Your reviews and writing aren't actually that bad so you get a thumbs up for that one . Just try give it a more modern look, it's not really a BIGGGG issue but for me I prefer sites that look "new" as they are more pleasing to browse. Hope this helps a little, not trying to be mean or discourage you in anyway Peace out.
