Most of the clients of the service that my business provides come from Italy and France (although I'm based in the UK and my site is in English), so I need to rank on the first page of Google search for some specific keywords in French and Italian. I'm already translating the entire website into those languages and I was thinking that in order to have instant results in Google.fr and Google.de, to use PPC (or AdWords in this case). That way I would quickly show on the Google searches and increase traffic on the websites, while working in creating links in French and German websites. Am I doing right?
You could try creating subdomains, i.e. if your site is www.yourdomain.com, you could create subdomains such as french.yourdomain.com and italian.yourdomain.com and have the different subdomains in different languages
