Am i correct in the way im using Facebook for traffic?

as we know, facebook is big thing on the net and i want to make sure that im using it to its full potential.

My method to gaining traffic from facebook, is to find music based fan pages and groups etc and writing an into speech for my website, as well as its link?

are they any other ways ? without making it look like spam?
