Hi I just read steave39's thread about lurking in the forums so I thought it was about time for me to step out of the woods. So my pressing question is am I breaking Google TOS. http://www.thewholesale-hub.com The ads at the bottom with the pics above. Also I thought maybe the bolded words at the top leading to the skyscrapper, it was a complete accident but sort of effective. Also any improvement suggestions would be helpful I sort of just chucked it all together.
As far as I see, you are not breaking TOS. Pics are fine, but again I am not Google. Better you drop an email to them and ask. you may consider puting a <hr> tag between bottom pics and Adsense.
Hello, and welcome to DP! Enjoy your stay! The ads look just fine. There is enough space between the images and the ad. The only thing that I noticed was the the formatting is wrong. 'The Wholesale Hub" Bolded text is overlapping your menu bar on the top right, making it impossible to read or click. This is in Firefox 1.0.7 on Linux (Ubuntu 5.10) Disclaimer: In all questions of TOS it is always better to check with Google than us. "The guys on the forum told me it was ok" has never worked well in anyones defense for anything *ever*!
Welcome Jaybong! As in Steves thread, I think the pics you have are fine but you need a border between the pics and the actual ad. BUT please do not take any poster's advise at DP as the final say. Email Google just to clear your format. >> According to Jensense you do need a border between the ads and pictures, so they will probably tell you to just add a border between the ads and the pic to be in compliance. When I emailed the above address and asked for a review that's what they told me. More info here: http://www.jensense.com/archives/200..._above_ad.html
Pictures are generally ok next to adsense. I've read other posts where sometimes google will ask that the pictures be separated from the ads either by space or by boxing off the ads just so surfers are aware that the pictures are not affiliated with the ads. As always though, if you want to be 100% sure, email google
