Hello guys, am I braking any TOS, if I publish ads on a site containing thumbnails of images? All of them listed like when you set your image directories (on your computer) to show in thumbnail view. All of the images are designed by me, and I own full copyright of them. Do you think I should go ahead and proceed with installing AS on that site, or should I (or can I) contact google, and ask them about that specific site. I don't want to put the ads, earn money, just to see that my site wasn't complying with their TOS and they close my account.
Is that all that's going to be on the site, just thumbnails? If the site has a purpose and there's a reason you have these thumbnails like for example a fan site with news, bio, pictures and you go to the picture page and there are thumbnails that should be fine. If you're just thinking of putting up one page with random thumbnails on it I'm not so sure it would be a good idea.
If in doubt, write to Adsense and ask them. A while ago, I had a website which I thought may be borderlining the policy and I wrote to them about it and they were gracious to provide me with a Yes or No answer.
You should have SOME content on your pages. IMO, it wouldnt be a good idea to display adsense ads on pages with thumbnails only. Maybe you can try and add RSS feeds or other syndicated content to your pages, or try and write some content for them yourself.
Well the site was about thumbnails of tatoos, which you can see full description for after clicking on the thumbnail, and that description would provide also a larger resolution graphic. and thanks for the tips.
