Hi guys... This is the case. I only run one campaing in adwords for my site. I find it funny that i get certain ammount of "clicks" in adwords for a day (24hrs period) and when i check my google analytics i get ALWAYS like a 10% less visitors showing in the google CPC count... (campaign reports or traffic source) shouldnt this number be identical ? or perhaps i am missing something ? any comments are welcome! Thank you!
I've never seen 2 tracking systems that produce identical stats. There are a lot of variables - load time, what exactly they are counting, time lags - if you need really exact figures, don't expect to rely on a free service.
Hi Magda, thank you for answering. I thought the same, but i was wondering, at the end these numbers should pretty much level ? (cause of load times and everything, if you add up your stats throught a longer stretch of time, the percentage deviation should lower) It is kind of worrying, cause at high traffic numbers , it does make a difference. (not my position yet , but i am an optimist) can you give me any recomendations how to investigate this deeper. ? Perhaps do you have any statistics software (paid if the case) that can keep a better track of these. Or will it be good to write an inquiry to a googles customer service rep. ?
