Many people that have been banned received this same E-mail. Try to find out the problem and correct it. Ask Google to reconsider and apologize for your mistake. They might let you back in. But all earned money is lost.

That email was sent because they feel your adsense has click bombed. It doesnt mean you need to have adwords to get that email. What they mean was your adsense might has been click fraud and thus making their advertiser (adwords) at a loss. If you have supporting documents such as server logged, you can try send it to them as a proof.
Google just gave you a life sentence, If you haven't cash any checks from google, don't bother cashing it cause it will get bounced. Sorry to hear that...
