Am I Allowed To Advertise A Domain-Related Website Here?

Hi all!

I'm working on a website that would be beneficial for domainers worldwide, or at least I think it would be

So what I'm asking is, would it be acceptable to make a new thread with the title something like "MyDomain.net -> The place to get your domain sold..." and then go on to describe how it can help everyone.

Would that be allowed, or would it just really irritate people?
