http://cgi.ebay.com/NINTENDO-WII-PR...8QQihZ011QQcategoryZ62054QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Look closely... That guy spent $296 on an EMAIL address... Wow... Do you honestly think he thought he was bidding on an email?
Well...this is a case of stupidity... Because you can clearly see the words 'email address' in bold...so the user is at fault here....
that is almost as bad as this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=020&sspagename=STRK%3AMESO%3AIT&viewitem=&item=300050305788&rd=1&rd=1 A guy bought 3 PS1's thinking he was buying a PS3... I think Ebay canceled it thank god lol
he refunded the money, because he was gentle, he was clearly stating that he was selling an email address. what stupid people
The whole of Ebay is not a bunch of crooks. You just need to make sure you know what you are doing before you attempt to buy something from Ebay. Read the entire product description, look at the pictures and contact the seller with any additional questions you may have. Just READ the damn thing, people -- and you'll probably be alright.
Lol... I love ebay, and I have luckily never had a problem with buying on it. *knocks on wood* Although this guy is obviously someone who is was trying to make a quick buck on in my opinion something that worth pennies.. Who would want that email address anyways? Its a hotmail hosted email address and to me would be worth mear cents... Its good he refunded..
I hear some horror stories like this from eBay users, but 99% of my experiences have been great. I did buy a DVD last Christmas that was never delivered and half-refunded, but I only lost $40 or so.
At least he apologized and refund was made. I hate people who scam others thinking that they are clever.
Maybe he just did it to try and teach whoever it was to be more carefull on Ebay!! Its nice he refunded the money.. (Dont usually see that.)
