Always need at least two months to get good SERPs?

Hi, I noticed that we always need at least two months to get good SERPs in our high traffic niche. It is true? I ever had a new site and almost every day I typed my website's address in geoseo.com to find where is my website position in my targeted keywords. However, the answer was always "n/a" but about two and half months later, strangely I was sitting on the 10th position. Now of course my position is much better. I have a new site, about three months ago and I experienced the same thing. In the first two months, I can't find my site in my targeted keyword but things are different now, it is always like that?

Mine were in the serps within a week. Usually between 10-100. By a month I usually find my place in the top 10 around 3-8. But my keywords arnt overly competitive. Definately didnt wait that long though.

it is not always the case that u need atleast 2 months. you can achieve it within week and some time it may take more than 3 months too. it is totally depends on site on which you are working.and competition of the keyword for which u want ranking.

Serps build up over time, 1 month you might rank 200 the next 300 and then the next month 5.

are you sure? Because one month ago my rank was even not in the top 1,000 (based on geoseo.com) but just a few weeks later, I was ranked 10th. Why I could jumped so high? I experienced the same thing with my older site.

It seems that my site has entered a sandbox phase in Google. Anyone has any idea about how long the length will be, two month, six month?

You can bring rank in 1 week or in 1month.. it depends on your hardwork... there are some other factors which brings your rank like backlinks, content etc.. I got ranking between 1st to 3rd page for every new website i start just within a week. Although some keywords are not too compititive but it still brings 100+ UV each day.
One thing funny, may be happened to everyone. Each time my websites are ranked 1st time, after a week they dropped exactly one time and disapear from all keywords.. but then after a week re-apear and got stable ranking atlast..

For competitive keywords, you might find yourself in the sandbox, which might take 3 to 9 months to get out from and start getting decent SERPs

It varies greatly on how you SEO it, giving a timeframe on it is like giving a timeframe on how long it takes to save up for a new car. It really just depends on what you do.

However 1 month for front page is pretty much the norm for 95% of the keywords i target.
