Always backup your database !!

I learnt the lesson the hard way.

I was playing around with another database , and somehow since the db name was pretty similar i played around with the one i shouldnt , and ... messed it up , from now on , if i am in phpadmin doing anything with any db , i will before backup all the databases there, also do a periodical database backup (thinking of doing it once in a couple of days atleast)

There is simply no two ways about it people , BACK YOUR DATABASE TODAY & name your databases very much differently

 

Oh yaa i have done the above before too, the feeling grows slowly till u turn all red.. but take it easy next time u will be careful.

 

From every mistake you will learn something.

 

yes, u feel kind of sick all inside of you and worst of all, you know that you have no one else to blame but yourself

somebody shld design a mod that automatically backs up your database before you change it.....

I also had that kind of experience. I lost everything because of careless to my database....

 

Not only one should backup the data, but should also keep on optimizing the database from time to time. This would ensure lesser database crashes.
