After checking around myself, i found alertpay to be an alternative to paypal. I know paypal is widely known, but many people are experiencing problems with paypal and want alternatives. Alertpay seems to have a great following and has continued to grow.
Paypal holds the monopoly over payment processing. It's trusted by casual internet users which forces sellers to stick by their service. With that being said, I think there are safer and more cost effective providers out there - but the average consumer would always prefer to pay via Paypal.
How are you wanting to make payment, bank account, credit card, etc.? Moneybookers is not available in the US and they are under a federal money laundering investigation last I heard. Most merchants accept credit cards and many account checks directly online. It's not common that you would have to have a paypal account for online purchases.
Paypal gets high marks from me. I will have to look into Google checkout as well. If there is a market to corner than Google will have some additions that make that market and its appropriate product stand out from the others.
Hi there, I'd like to point out Paxum as an alternative. It's free to signup, you can send money P2P, you can receive money P2P (business to business, business to consumer, consumer to business, consumer to consumer, etc). We have Pay Now buttons, recurring subscriptions, instant payments. We have various ways to fund and withdraw from your account, including the Paxum Mastercard which can be requested after verification. You can also fund your Paxum account with a credit card if you desire, and withdraw to an already existing credit card as well. We have multiple currency accounts, and lots of versatility for our clients. Security is strong with us, and we pride ourselves on excellent customer service. I'd be happy to chat with you directly if you'd like, or you can visit our site for more info and a complete fee breakdown. Please feel free to get in touch. Thanks, Ruth
I love the very high security measures they enforce in order to protect both you and your customers details. Always when setting up any account online, make sure you consider your password. Make it strong and personal to you only. Especially in regards to a PayPal account, as this will handle all your financial transactions and control all your balances.
Alertpay is the best alternative to paypal as far as security is concern. I have had a bad experience with locating a transaction before though and I ended up losing $100. Anyway there is no reason to cry over spilled milk now though.
