Alternatives to Paypal or Monebookers

Looking for alternative suggestions to Paypal or Moneybookers.

I was looking into Moneybookers but don't like the whole verification process. If you have an internet based business, all you really should have to verify is:

    Address
    Bank account

    that's it !!

Why do they need your ID and more; it's just another place so someone can steal your identity? Is Moneybookers really a bank, they sure act like it.

Anyway, I don't mind paying slightly higher fees for :
    1.) less background checks,
2.) threat of acct being locked out,
3.) paying fees to withdraw money (absurd !!) especially when you pay) to get a online transaction processed, so am I getting billed twice ?

Paypal - well, we all know their issues.

Something professional, easy, and with less headaches. So, yes I am graduating and will pay more for a better service. Cost is not always the most important factor.

I'd suggest egold. They are the most discrete payment processor out there plus you won't have to worry about chargebacks but the downside is it's a pain to fund.

Any users that use fastspring here? I would be interested in using it for a writing business I hope to start. I'm assuming it's like a payment method clearinghouse wherein multiple methods can be funneled to one person and thereby simlified?

For some reason people have trouble understanding the concept that Liberty Reserve and E-Gold are both, literally - digital currency meaning it isn't real and there is absolutely NOTHING to back up the dollar value. That is why they depend on independent third party exchange services. The digital currency is only "worth" something because they say so. In reality it is no more reliable then the gold in World of Warcraft

Stick with Payment Processors like Moneybookers & AlertPay

    Uh, I wouldn't

Yes there is no chargebacks but the value of e-gold is losing value rapidly...plus they plead guilty to money laundering and they are getting sued!

I know of people who have hundreds in egold and people won't even swap HALF the value of his egold...
