    OpenSiteExplorer is the probably the best at this time! But for backlilnks, backlinkwatch is my favorite.

    The best alternative to Yahoo site explorer would have been OpenSiteExplorer. But then it only allows 10 free searches per day. Same is true for other alternatives as well. No alternatives are free.

    As far as the latest update on this issue, Yahoo notified that with Bing Webmaster tool will have a same tool like Yahoo site explorer. And hopefully it will be free.
