Hello, I have a question for the forum gurus please. Right now, I would like to start publishing services online, at the same time I do not want PayPal as an option. I know that most users still prefer PayPal payments. But I wanted to know about a PayPal alternative that can let me accept payments for "Digital Products" without having to affect my sales volume too much or disappoint some customers who love PayPal and do not want to use a less popular solution. Keep in mind that I do not want PayPal as an option. I've thought of Moneybookers, but I think its also limited. Things like 2CO came to my mind but I would preferrably not pay any setup fees or monthly fees. As the sales volume is not really that big to pay all those fees. Type of Service: Freelance Jobs, Digital Goods Question: Payment Processor Suggestion with no setup fees or upfront fees. Acceptance: Worldwid, no PayPal. Any suggestions are welcome, plus rep+ in return for any help.
I will have a look at that one until others (may) suggest more options. I've never heard of Allopass to be honest. But hoping more reviews will kick in soon. Rep+ Edit: I've browsed through their services, not quite what I am looking for.
Thanks EnPassant They are good for micropayment / SMS payment and they do process credit cards + are adult content friendly Never heard about them ? Just because it's a European company They are in this business for at least 10 years anyway
Wow that is very long period in business. How come I never hear of them. This is one of the options, anymore options?
I just switched from PayPal (turns out they are borderline crooks!) to Google Checkout. I think the Google name gives it a lot of credibility. It's working well for me.
Quote from google checkout: "When you use Google Checkout to process your sales, you'll only be charged a low 2% + $0.20 per transaction. If you advertise with Google AdWords, you will also be eligible for free credit card processing for some or all of your Google Checkout sales. And there are no monthly, setup or gateway fees." Sounds a little like what you were looking for?
