Hello Members; I would like to know the best alternative to copyscape? Since copyscape is a paid service, I am looking at something free. I have used dustball plagiarism check, articlechecker but over time I have noticed that contents not caught in these websites are caught in copyscape. Which is the website you think is closed to copyscape or similar? I believed that all of them use Google API then why difference in search result for copyscape and others. Thanks in advance.
Thanks Contentboss for the response. But I think Google may not be the best solution. I need something which gives the same result as copyscape but is free. I have used articlechecker, dustball, plagium but they have use some different algo.
Hi, I can't post a link. But google "alternative to copyscape" and you will find your answer from one the thread in this forum.
All 'copyscape'-like checkers use... google to check. If you can't afford a few dollars a month, ... USE GOOGLE
If you are looking copyscape for duplicate content issue; then there are many plagiarism tool available that will help you find if the content is copied from any site or not. Try with dustball.com/cs/plagiarism.checker/ Thanks

Plagium. The comparisons between Plagium and Copyscape are obvious, however, the default interface of Plagium is not to provide a URL to be checked, as with Copyscape, but a textbox to paste your text. Though this is less convenient, it actually, in my experience, provides better results as the plagiarism checker is only examining the content, not the surrounding text (navigation, footer, etc.).However, if you prefer the convenience of just providing the URL, you can click the “Check URL†link and get a more Copyscape-like interface.
