I have created directory for the purpose of listing worthy alternatives to known or popular brand of goods, services, software or products. I have come up with this idea of a directory because sometimes we just need to know if there are other good alternatives to established products or services that we are currently using. I'm thinking of a user submitted alternatives directory. The directory is created with the end users in mind who are looking for a one stop site that features better alternatives. Its not created for ranking nor for the purpose of making money though it would be good if someone will advertise on it just to recover the costs of setting it up. The directory listing including the category is not yet complete and so i need your suggestions for categories of alternatives.
