As the Google toolbar is very slow (at best) to update its PageRank indicator I thought of a possible other way. Find you entry in the Google directory (if you ain't listed you want to be) and simply check the pagerank (using the toolbar) of the entries directly above and below you. From this you can work out what your current PR is. I don't know how accurate or up to date the directory is but if this works my PR3 site is really PR5 Cheers Al
I have two sites, a PR4 and PR5, and they are listed #2 & #3 in the google directory (even ahead of PR6 sites) but my page rank hasn't changed on either site in over 8 months. I wish it was an indicator of future PR, but it my situation it isn't.
