    Hi Gang

I need an alternative to Paypal any suggestions. I only sell links and buy websites so the money is very low. I dont want to pay high end.

    Thanks in advance Kevin

Paypal is by far the cheapest processor. If you're trying to save money you won't do it with anyone else.

Is there a reason you don't want to use Paypal?

That's a very good question. From your description, it does sound like PayPal is the perfect choice for you.

One alternative I found is ProPay. However, I have no personal experience with this service.

Yes there is a reason. I just sold a website and they put me into resolution. I have alot of money in there and now there going to close my account. Im appealing it at i have done nothing wrong. I read all there TOS and cant see any problem. I also sent all the info they needed as well as information regarding the buyer. They contacted him with great results. I know alot here are doing it dont understand why they targeted me.

I meant to say ProPay in my previous post (it's fixed now). BidPay only works for auctions, but ProPay is "like a merchant account without all the fees."

I guess I don't understand why selling a website would get you into trouble with Paypal. Can you elaborate?

    Thanks.

I wish i new. It started by them asking me for more details. I sent them all the transactions and everything that they needed. They also contacted the person i sold the site too. I think they just want my cash i dont know. I havent done anything wrong so no idea i called 10 times with no luck. I did send in an appeal so im waiting on the response. They say im a high risk. So no idea the problem. When i asked they said its against there policy to tell me the problem it may be a security risk.

So i sit and wait in the meantime it will be 180 to get out the funds i have there. I understand they have to protect there interests but when you do nothing wrong im just frustrated.

    Kevin,

How much money is currently frozen? Also, have you tried talking to them over the phone?

"Google confirmed Thursday that it was working on and beginning to test an online payment system, but said it was nothing like PayPal and would not compete with the market-leading service. Instead, Google is looking to solve "new problems in the payments space," says CEO Eric Schmidt."

It will be very interesting to see what this service turns out to be.

In the thousands. I phoned several times. Even was polite the first 6. Although i did get a manager that said to send in the appeal. He said he could not see a huge reason for the freeze.

That is why they froze your account.

I've had the same experience. It really is a HUGE pain, but if you are persistent with e-mails and phone calls, you will get your account unfrozen and your money back.

charge.com, oddly there are thousands like you, visit paypalsucks.com to learn more about Paypal and it's shady business practise.

    I agree with mastersite,

The whole idea of paypalsucks.com is to promote their company, and not actually to advice people, like they say.

    Try my earlier suggestion, GreenZap.
