    Hello Friends....

I need help from Indian friends (or other guys, who knows how it works) who get their money transferred from US to India for their work.

Ok, I have this client who I am associated with for the last 1 year. We work on project to project basis and I get paid at the end of each project. In short, I can depend on him making my payment and can also wait to accumulate a decent amount with him for my work and then ask for a transfer.

Now, he has been paying all the time to my paypal account through his Credit card...

Everything is fine, but at the end of the year, when I calculated, I find lot of money is not only going as Paypal fees but also the difference in currency exchange rates....

I understand, Paypal is very conveninent and reputed company to deal with.

My question is Is there any better way of him sending money to me directly? What if he does not uses his credit card? Can he send money from his bank to my bank sitting from his home just like he is doing with his credit card? Most importantly, will I be able to save considerable fees as well as better currency rate if I can bypass Paypal and deal with transfer of funds from his bank to my bank directly? If so, please do give me the basics how should I go about it..

    Thanks

    Jeet

You can call ur friend to pay thru Xoom which will come directly to ur bank :D but there service sux...

Instead You Can Try For Western Union But I Think There Fee Are More Than Paypal :p

Use wire transfer. Its the best and cleanest way if you want to do it from his account to yours.

Alternatives to paypal, like Alertpay or Moneybookers are also possible! You can always have a look at what is best for you.

Try moneybookers.com. They are good and highly reliable. Also Xoom.com is a great way to get cash.

Thank you guys for your help :) I truly appreciate all your efforts.

I did try moneybookers.. but my client was finding it difficult.. not so comfortable i guess.

I guess I shall request him to do Bank (Wire) transfer once and see how it goes.

Do you think he can pay from comfort of his home even for wire transfers like what he has been doing so by paying me through CC to Paypal account?

I havent asked him, but in all probability, he is paying through his Company's account.

LAST but note LEAST.. do you think I can save substantial fees in comparision to Paypal with better currency exchange rates? Sorry to trouble you guys.. my questions are genuine...

    Regards

    Thanks again

if he is paying with company account then you can go for mass pay to avoid fees
