Though I don't use moneybookers because of restrictions placed on my location, I will recommend them. They are very good and as long as you are not doing anything shady, you won't have any problems with them.

From experience... MoneyBookers would be the best alternative after Paypal. AlertPay is also a good choice but only after MoneyBookers.

Moneybookers DOES NOT allow US customers to send money to a NON us moneybookers. so, if you have US customers (which I'm sure you do since most sales come from the usa) then you will need to apply additionally for a moneybookers Merchant account. Thats the only way for US customers to be able to buy from you :( They will need to see your site and what your selling, etc etc.

This question is answered many times in this forum but the same question is asked repeatedly, many wanted to quit paypal but when do this paypal people correct themselves. Now they are not accepting any sort of payment from India and it is a mess using them. There are many other providers in that I had personally used Moneybookers, Plimus, 2CO in this 2CO and Plimus top the chart

xoom also isn't good for the USA, xoom and moneybookers....... wow all these people suggesting moneybookers, did you read the whole thread? use moneybookers and you are missing the USA market unless you apply additionally for the merchant account which is a huge pain in the azz

I tried many different ones, even ones that no longer exist, like eCharge and cybercash.

the best ones that i have found and have used in the past and currently use for our company are: http://www.paymentonline.com and http://www.securetrans.com (although they are being now purchased by Credit Card Payment Processing)
