    I think most bloggers (active bloggers) use RSS still - both for posting updates, and to keep score on other blogs - RSS is a quick, easy, centralized way of getting all the content from hundreds of different sources - and not via email, which still is a cumbersome, not-very-practical way of doing anything :)
