Alternative to Ebay

I realize its a long shot anybody will come but here is the story.

I went to Ebay yesterday to sell an Ipod touch I got yesterday because I already got one for my birthday. So I was going through the setting up the auction process just to find out that I was going to have to pay $25 final value fee, plus the auction fees. The total was about $30. Seeing this just pissed me off. How are you supposed to get anything close to what the value is of something if Ebay is going to rip you off by charging an arse load of fees? Sure i could easily just jack the price up on the item, but then who would buy it for more they could get it at a store for?

Anyways to make a long story short. I started a site called www.thebidznet.com . No Final Value Fees, no Auction fees. The only fees are for bold, or featured etc. And I wouldnt charge for that but than it would make those extras valueless. So I just put them at $.02 - $.05 a piece.

I would like to extend my invitation over to everyone to come and put up your items for sale, buy items from people and hopefully make this site a nice alternative to over priced ebay .

    Thanks,
    Jeremy Miller

Your name conflicts with another auction site ( www.bidz.com ) in case you didn't know.

Great site and layout though and I'll definitely be checking it out.
