Alternative to Adsense on a gaming site

    Hi everyone,

I am currently looking for a second ad network in addition to google adsense on my site (link in my signature). Its a gaming site with international visitors.

    Some stats:

    6-9k visitors per day
    +-100k PI per day
Alexa: 45.814 (even if I think this ranking is kind of weird)
Visitors from all over the world, but around 80% from the US/CA as well as Europe.

    Any proposals?

The ad network would have to match the following requirements:

    Payment via wire transfer/paypal
    ONLY family friendly ads

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Greg

Yahoo is one. Adengage and clicksor but check to make sure ads are family friendly.

How old are your visitors generally? We have some ads that might be of interest to young generation, so basically gaming sites are kind of target audience we have specific interest in.

Have you tried the 2 first ad networks here

They pay rather well and they pay on a CPM basis, which is good for a site that can't get so much traffic.

You can try bidvertiser. It does not have too good results but comparing it with adsense on a gaming site it will be fine.

Yes, I would say to go with AdEngage. You can choose what kind of ads you display on your site and they offer several ways you can get paid. I also like the fact that anything you CAN'T DO with Adsense, you can do with them. Highly recommended, especially for gaming/arcade sites and entertainment sites....

Yeah, Chitika might work. But I dont think text link ads will work so well, unless you have a high pagerank..

textlinkads is good in a way that you can put the advertisements anywhere on your page or on any page of your site. You get a good amount of money for just on ad spot. But as you said, you do need good traffic and PR plus Alexa rankings to get a better price for your ad space.

AdToll.com has a growing Entertainment and Games vertical. We offer Text and Banner Ads of various sizes. Payment is monthly via Paypal, min. of $20, no fees.

You can configure your Ad Groups to restrict certain industries including Adult and Dating and you also have the ability to deny Sponsored Ad Bookings if they are not acceptable for your genre.
