I hate to say it but there is no real alternative to Adsense. Other networks may mimic Adsense but Adsense has the highest payouts of CPC networks. Although, Adbrite comes pretty close but you'll need more volume than ever to make money with them (it's not bad CTR with adbrite, though it's not bad to make money of their context ads either).

chitika has changed since merging with google. My sites are in pending for premium approval state for life and payout for silver is just crap

 

7Search is a good adsense alternative. Their ads look very similar to adsense. They pay by check and wire transfer. They allow adult publishers. Ads can be targeted by keyword input. Standard sizes and other tools like a blogroll ad widget.
