Alternative PPC?

Are the cheaper PPC programs such as MIVA and 7Search worth using? I use Yahoo and Google already, but the minimum bids of .01c of the other programs are enticing. Have also tried the "10,000 uniques" for $10.00 route and found that to be a total waste of money.
Anyone had experience with this, or any other suggestions?

Thanks for the list rcajht, but my question was if it's worth it to spend money on these cheaper PPC options.

Conversions on smaller networks have usually lower conversion rates but you can experiment with some of the bigger ones such as Adbrite and Bidvertiser. If you havent tried .. I'd go with MSN aswell.

You have to experiment because Cheap doesn't mean quality. I just signed up for MIVA and for my keywords, they aren't exactly cheap so for my bids I don't expect to get many (or any) clicks.

I did find a gold mine yesterday, but I'm keeping it under my hat for now. It's a popular service, though, so it's probably on that list already.

Actually, I tested another called AdEngage, but it's a bit slow to deliver the clicks. I only got 75 clicks all day yesterday, but for $50 I'll get 569 clicks total and they are definitely QUALITY click throughs that are working very well for me! I could probably do better with their service by optimizing the ad buy a bit more.

Oops... I meant that I have 625 clicks total that I paid for on AdEngage.

I bought the Targeted CPC (RON). RON stands for "Run of Network" which is special because you can also pick and choose which sites you want to advertise on over there.

Anyway, they made a believer out of me. I've been baptized, but your milage may vary.

Thanks for all the helpful feedback everyone, I will check out MSN, never thought of that. TDub, did the 625 cost, or is going to cost $50.00? And if you are getting good results from .08c/click then I would say that's worth looking into. Thanks for that. And Paullie thanks for that link, I'll investigate there a bit further.

Mass appeal products work best when using low quality traffic... so health, wealth, weight loss, beauty, make money types of products.

Of course you need to be testing your sales page no matter who you use for traffic.

Nice list. I included in del.icio.us. It will be nice if Alexa ranking of each site is also listed. Good work in collecting this huge list

Are they worth it because the price is cheaper. Not normally.

If you saw something in a shop for $100 and then a similar product elsewhere that is only $10, then normally the $100 will give you a better quality product. This is just the same with marketing normally.

So in other words, the adwords, YPN's traffic, etc. is normally of better quality. I find that I could have 10 visitors with 1 cent per click search engines and 1 visitor from Adwords will still be of better quality than them 10. So 5 cents for that one visitor and 10 cents for the 10, which is of the same quality as that 1 means that I am getting traffic from Adsense half price. It's about quality and not quantity.
