Alternative for Google Analytic?

    yup. Try Awstats. Thats what I use. It is really amazing!

    There ain't nothing better than G Analytics. The only one that comes close is Awstats.

    Awstats isn't giving any clear idea about unique hits for me. Extreme tracking could be an alternative.

    Personally, I don't like AWStats, its like, old... :p

    Now, dmi, this is the problem with people, you can't say there is nothing better then _BLANK_ when you and everyone else has never even tried it... Now if this was usable by everyone, then you could determine whether or not its better then Google Analytics, don't kill the cat before its alive :p

    If Statcounter were free, it would have been awesome! It's only free for a log of the last 500 entries. The interface is clean, you can see your visitors' IP, the exact page where they came from, etc. G Analytics can be a pain sometimes, showing the referring page as refer.php/ or something like that. And the interface is too cumbersome!
