How do you feel about helping web to flourish and become accessible for all beyond Google,Yahoo,MSN? If you're ok with it, then start from searching in Wikipedia Google monopoly article ;) Nowadays, when the net is also user-controlled, we can freely contribute to alternative search enigne incubator creation thus promoting the development search engine market. It is already an on-going process and the best news is that it doesn't require any financial resources. Just some of user's time and willingness to help. I am one of the first volunteers and it gives me a feeling that I'm involved in a far going process.:)

ForumFocus.net, you can stick to watever you want... but there's not much you may want. 21st century is an age of free market & multiple choice, now rare people prefer to adhere to one thing. We are free to choose between
Coke or Pepsi, Ipod or Zune, IE or Mozilla Firefow, the list is long...so why not to have a variety of equally strong search engines? Of course Google is going to remain a know and trusted brand but the main idea is to boost a sustainable development of technology, not just a rival.

I agree with Copperhair405, our century implies free competitiveness at the market, especially on inet, but what we have now??? The dominant Google that covers almost all areas of the inet and consantly becomes monopolist. However we have different alt search engines that are already launched, but who knows if they will have long lifetiome or not. And it depends on our choice and decision.

In any field people are used to have a variety of choices, but on inet we have three dominance figures, and no other serious choice/alternative. This situationd is not full of promisses for Internet future. I believe that someone somewhere somehow developes new advanced search technologies for the "web of future". And maybe the idea of search engines incubator will have a positive influence on technologies advancement.
