Are there any other advertising companies or websites out there that serve as an alternative to Google Adwords?

I'm talking websites such as Yahoo!, Bing, Facebook, etc etc.

I would be interested in hearing other solutions that you have had success with.

You get good clicks with Yahoo & MSN.. but the campaigns getting high CTR on Google may not necessarily click on Yahoo & MSN.. I had auto loan campaign which attracted lot of clicks in Yahoo but the conversion rate sucked...

Have you thought about learning SEO techniques to get free traffic? Sometimes, that's the best way to go to make your first sales, and then as you become more successful, you can gradually move into pay per click advertising with those campaigns.

My SEO is good. I'm #1 on Google for a lot of high traffic keywords... but it's simply not enough!

If you can't advertise on Google Adwords, how do you increase your traffic? What other alternatives are there?

There are tons of networks out there past the big 3, Google, Yahoo, MSN. You could sign up as an affiliate and have other people host your products on their sites. If you want to run the PPC yourself, business.com, yellowpages.com, etc can work.

I would love to get good at PPC marketing... the simplicity of it is very alluring, but at the same time, I know there are huge lists of logistics to pay attention to, and if you don't know what you're doing, you can lose big time. Until then, I'm focussing on SEO and backlinks... gets me plenty of free traffic, though it may be more complicated at least it doesn't cost more money!
