In such competition, you can't beat any leading search engine until you have support of any leading company like google/microsoft etc.. So, I dont think its a good choice to waste time on making your own search engine!

This is an mp3 search engine here is my thoughts on it.

1. Your english on the page is very bad.
2. You need a new template something more simple.
3. You should add jquery auto suggestion to the search.
4. make the search results page look better.

These are just a few of things that could be improved...
