alt text with pics to generate ads

Is it sufficient JUST to have good descriptive alt text with a picture to generate contextual ads?

Alt text helps. Your header title helps as well. Basically the more text you have, and the more keywords in those text, the better. Otherwise you risk getting generic category ads from your site's theme.

 

I mean with a picture gallery, so the pic would stand alone with a little quality descriptive text.
