    Alt tag is used to describe the image on your web pages that helps to boost your web page rank.if you donot use Alt tag then,Google crawlers won't know what your image is about and your images will not appear in image searches.

    alt tag is used to described the image on your website and it appear as a text when you move your to any image on your website, though it is helpful as SEO point of view
