Alt Spamming

Hi Guys this is Jimmy here.
I have noticed one very important thing,Google is now very strict to Alt spamming.I have done Alt spamming for my website,before doing those changes in my website,i was getting good position for my website,but as i done these changes in my website,my website disappear not only for 1 keyword but also for all pages , i was not getting any ranking of any of my pages.
Then i analyzes the fact that because of alt spamming i m not getting any ranking for my keyword.
Google is now very strict to alt spamming,so guys don't try to do any type of spamming else for sure you are going to get banned from Google.

So what exactly were you doing?

Surely changing your alt tag to include your site's key word is not considered spamming, right?

For example, a site about dog food and you name an image alt="dog food image"

 

That should be fine

 

Yeah it makes no sense, ALT tag is used to define the image. if the image is about a dog food... what should one write? Cat clothes? lol

 

i suppose he only build links with image and his keywords came from the alt of his images...

 

i have also done alt spamming for one of my site but want to see what happened

 

it probably won't get you banned, there will be just not much benefit for stuffing keywords in ALT attributes. Like the others said, just describe in no more than a few words what the image is.
