Website dedicated to marijuana education, information etc, but does not promote ....is an informative site. Google sends marijuana headlines and displayes marijuana-related ads but wont allow AS on a site that promotes being well-informed on the subject and offers a neutral point of view??

I have seen members here with pot sites and sex sites running adsense and wonder why they can have AS. LBA?

I think the TOS is clear, no illegal drug related sites. The whole thing confuses me and seems "evil". :/

Yep. Pot is illegal in the US.
I wonder if the website was hosted in the netherlands, would google allow it since pot is legal there?

You have to check this out, a complete overview of the laws regarding marijuana as applied to the US....funny, it appears that it is decriminalized almost everywhere in the US, including CALIFORNIA. so i guess that the only place it is illegal...really, is the state of Google. What the......errrk. Reminiscent of George Orwell's 1984 "Big Brother". Poor fella was right after all, guess that's what the website publisher gets for trying to keep the world better informed about a natural resource. Seig Heil.

"Decriminalized" isn't the same as "legal." Pot is still an "illegal" drug in the US.

The site is banned because it's illegal.

Uhh, when did it become illegal to talk about weed? Smoke, yes, talk about/educate, no.

Is the problem having sites that promote such or having good contents that educate people on the danger of indulging in it?
