    Umm - you're a couple of months behind the trend, we've been doing it in New Zealand for Cancer Research for ages (2 buckets over you and feet in another bucket).
    and the guy who kicked it off in America just died, so laughing about it as I'm guessing your video does, seems a bit insensitive.

    Yeah i did the challenge weeks ago. Now i see celebs are doing it. Lets hope they are donating lumps of cash and not doing it purely for publicity

    You don't really have to be nominated in order to participate in the cause. You can start it yourself, nominating some friends. We did it yesterday in our office and we had tons of fun :)

    Of course, the ALS ice bucket challenge has been going on for a while now, at least here in the U.S. Seems like a unique campaign (at least here) and a very worthy cause. The only negative thing that I had heard about it was on the news yesterday and it involved a clergyman decrying ALS research because it uses embryonic stem cells which pro-lifers are against. ALS replied that of the many, many stem cell research programs that these donations fund, only one of them involves embryonic stem cells and donors can select an option to specify which research programs get their money.

    Almost any campaign that gets more funds for medical research pretty much has my endorsement. If we humans have one thing in common it is that we all get sick and we all die. We should all be able to agree on the additional funding of medical research to help with these issues.

    Truth be told almost everyone that was on shift at that time had a job - 2 people filming, 5 people being soaked and 4 bucketeers :) Its no surprise that most were insisting on the bucket job :D
