Already on 1st page for like everything...haven't even done SEO

Am I lucky, or is it just really easy to rank for these? My proxy forum has been around for a few weeks, and already ranks on Google for these searches:

discuss proxy - Rank 1 (duh)
discuss proxies - Rank 1 (also duh)
proxy webmaster discussion - Rank 1
proxy discussion forums - Rank 2
proxy discussion forum - Rank 2
general proxy discussion forum - Rank 3
newsletter blast - Rank 5
proxy webmaster - Rank 5
proxy discussions - Rank 6
proxy webmaster forum - Rank 7

I also rank pretty well for this:

proxy discussion - Rank 14
review tmzhosting - Rank 16

Yes, thats what matter. How good are the searches?

 

Now you need to be no1 for "proxy forum" thats probably the most searched one.

 

Get on the first page for "Proxy Forum", that will be good. (Page 6 atm)

Most are just slight variations of your domain name - get there for proxy forum and you may have something to announce.

Congratulations though!

 

Keep in mind your site is new. Google often shows new sites on page one for a few days, then they disappear for a while. Also, the search terms you mentioned aren't very competitive...this is also why your on page one. Be sure to let us know in a week which terms your site drops from page 1.

 

I'm gonna work on getting the term 'Proxy Forum' up there. @SearchBliss, I've never heard of this, but that seems pretty interesting. I will keep you updated.

I get quite a few searches mainly for review tmzhosting, proxy guys (I'm rank #3), and a few for proxy forum, tmzhosting.com review, and newsletter blast. I don't get 'proxy discussion forum' or stuff like that clicks very often, but I do get impressions.

 

Its a few things combined,

Lack of competition

New links...

wait a couple months till Google has time to score things fully, and then report back....

your domain name is so good that's why you got in top at Google

 

I guess your site is quite new right? Google rank new sites often very high for some period of time.

If you want to maintain this ranking then you will need to build some quality backlinks.

 

I'd say this has a lot to do with your domain name.

That said - big congrats on the first results and good luck with the next round of work.

good job ... Well google like fresh content and fresh sites ... So if you got first place on google so early then its nice but try to keep your site on first place anyways best of luck

Those ranks would be good IF it fall among good amount of keyword searches.
It would be pointless to brag about being #1 for a keyword with 2 searches.
