Hey, I got my credit card from ICICI a few days ago. (against an F.D. as suggested by you people) Added it to almost all of my payment processors without any hassles. Today when I tried to transact on IRCTC for a train ticket, it took me to the 3D Secure page of ICICI bank, stating that I had to register for 3D Secure before I could pay to IRCTC with my credit card. All I want to know is, if I register for the 3D secure service, will my other international transactions be declined? Please help me decide if I should activate this service now or not. Regards Sunny K Gupta
Hey, thx for the response. I already have my ICICI bank NetBanking account registered and active. But the reason for me asking this question is that if at any point of time, I don't have sufficient funds in my Bank Account, but do have some Credit available in my CC, I would be able to utilize it. Hope that makes my doubt more clear.
This a security measure taken by banks so you need to register and it will ask you for your pin and to create a password so, now whenever you make a transaction you need to input the password.
