I spent the last 2 years trying to make money out of clickbank but only
very recently made $16. LOL Well, I guess I didn't spend much time building a good
    site and promoting it.

The secret is to keep your site moving - all the time.

LOL, if I spent 8 months trying something and didn't make a single sale...I'd start trying something else.

Try different methods to get targeted visitors & see what works best for you to get sales. But 8 months is long time mate, wish you could be got one sale at least! Stick any of the promotion methods for some days & do the all task properly.

Something must be drastically wrong as 8 months without any major sales this has to be telling you something, either sit down and try and work out what could be wrong with the current setup or try something else.In my mind the latter option would be the best option even with a brand new site you should be getting some sales.Good luck with what ever you chose anyway

You didn't go through the proper channel or with having less information about your targeted market. 1st make a proper plan and then go ahead. Try to get targeted visitors to your site or promotion offer which will leads you to get sales. Hope it will work.

Try buy targeted visitors or share links on social networks like Facebook and Twitter, they both were effectives.

i am promoting CB for about 2 years.. i ended with nothing in first year.. and not i can earn around $200+ per week.. CB is easy to promote if you have right products to promote..

never go with products which has high competition in google.. go with simple products which has more conversion and less gravity.. and make some reviews about it.. you will get good results with in one week !!!

You may need to learn more about affiliate marketing and then try again or do something else. If you were to try something else and still needed to use marketing skills, the results may be the same. 8 months is a long time not to make a single sale. Read around the forum on traffic generation and marketing or follow a good course that can help you learn more about IM (There's free ones) and then set up a plan of action and stay consistent.

Everybody seems to make money here, pushing the lever for those who are struggling down farther.
Clickbank is pain in the butt if you have chosen a wrong product to promote in the first place.

Most of my Clickbank income is coming from 20 or so "sniper sites" I created around a year ago. I'm not exactly laughing hysterically to the bank, but on average I get one sale per day ($500-$750 per month), and it really is auto-pilot... some of these websites were developed in as little as a single day and left to simmer; eventually they started getting organic traffic and bringing in 1-2 sales per month.

Each one of these websites took maybe a total of 10-30 hours to set up, and they've each pulled on average $500 of income over the past year... and counting. Not a bad use of my working hours, when I look back in perspective. I've dabbled with other methods that proved far less efficient and much more time-consuming.

The best part about using this method is how it doesn't involve much link building... it's all about locating low competition niches and setting up a tightly optimized keyword-focused domain that practically forces itself into the first page of google rankings within 1-2 months of being released with little to no off-site SEO. In my experience, it's all about going for low competition, obscure search terms that other marketers seem to ignore.

Some people will say that setting up google snipers is a waste of time, since eventually Google will slap these websites with the thin affiliate penalty. Well, my experience tells me this approach does work to a reasonable extent... and it's probably the method with the best ratio of results/effort I've ever learned about. I'm not ecstatic with the idea of selling info-products (I feel information should be free), but hey... it's good money, that I can use to set up other projects with other types of monetization in them.

    ha.. ha... nice idea man..

copied some texts from google sniper sales page and put a afflink on the footer..

to everyone who is looking for google sniper --- it's not a scam... but it was worthless.. a simple course which has no sense at all..

all those methods will not work... it may work for the author of Google Sniper but it will never work for you !!!

anyway i made some good amount via promoting it to my list... it was good converting product !!!

so i can say that "i made nice affiliate commission by selling Google Sniper " :)

i can teach pretty much good tricks to promote CB products as a affiliate if you are willing to pay me nice amount :) !!!!

I've been working online as a content creator for aroud 4 years now, but I only started getting into affiliate marketing 2 years ago. As such, I'm still learning my way around the business and I'm not too good at fundamental things such as link building - yet.

For someone who's just getting started, I can assure you the Google Sniper program is the simplest, clearest blueprint out there.

At this point, I'm moving to (let's say "intermediate" affiliate level), since I have a few dozen websites out there, and I'm confortably breaking the 4-digit bareer each month. From the websites bringing in the profit (20/80), the ones that ranked with the least effort were the ones that followed the Google Sniper formula.

You can't argue with results. Google sniper elaborates a very simple and powerful SEO trick: getting a domain name with your exact keyword.

For anyone who doesn't know, sniper websites are extremely narrow niche sites, thoroughly optimized for a specific keyword - starting with the exact domain name, including the titles and keyword density of the content, as well as several other specifications which are clearly laid out in the Google Sniper manual.

When done correctly (meaning you choose a good keyword and optimize the website as described in the Google Sniper manual), you will usually find that your website will rank naturally in the top 10 results for the main keyword.

You can use the sniper strategy not just for clickbank products, but for just about anything, from Amazon to Adsense. However, if you want to make sure your websites will stand the test of time (and Google) you should make sure to put some half decent content in there. Crappy websites are bound to have crappy results.

A sniper website doesn't *have* to be a crappy website. That's all up to the webmaster and his editorial vision and monetization tactics.
