Sorry ALN fans, but it's over... http://www.micronicheforum.com/thre...att-Cutts-Tweeted-That-it-s-on-Google-s-Radar
It looks like Google has caught up with the Build My Rank service as well - http://www.buildmyrank.com/news/its-been-a-great-run It was only a matter of time before time. Google is going to be chasing a lot of these sorts of networks
Correct , I came a cross a lot of Blog Affiliate Program networds this year. I am glad google tracking down thoses network.
Great, because It really pisses me off when all my hard work is put into building links and getting activity and then someone can just illegitimately boost their rankings above mine.
It would be interesting to see how the things will turn out in the end. Will ALN eventually shutdown? Or will it continue to innovate and improve?
I'm not certain how ALN will be able to innovate/improve at this time. The big G is really gunning for these networks. Even a network like Build My Rank that used original, non-spun articles wasn't immune to massive de-listing of their sites. ALN may hold on for awhile, but the writing is on the wall I'm afraid.
These are networks of spam blogs... aka splogs. Google isn't out for them in particular, they have always been out to remove spammy content and return quality content. They are just getting better at detecting these networks for what they are. Anyone who relied on these for there SEO strategy is a fool and anyone who span articles using the same keyword text is an even bigger fool! Google are now looking at incoming keyword text and if they find the exact same text again and again they will devalue that link, so even if the network goes under the radar the PR value will still drop.
