almost asking for clicks

    I noticed this above an adsense ad on a high traffic site.

    So is hint dropping permitted?


    How about this?

    These adsense ads are here just so my family doesn't starve to death while I spend all my time creating this website for you. But what is really important is the content beyond...keep going!

    Hmm ... let me think about it ... uh, NO. Hint dropping is still bringing undo attention to the ads and the way this is worded is basically giving the user an incentive (help us pay the bill) and asking them to click.
