almost 8000 impressions, what does that mean?

I ggot almost 8000 page impressions my google stats say, and 6 clicks. What are impressions, I havent even advertised my site yet. Thanks

If you haven't advertised your site and you got 8000 impressions and 6 clicks, one must ask if you have been clicking on your own ads.

 

No, ive told like 12 people, just to see what they think. So I guess they have clicked on some ads.

If you got 8000 impressions and only 6 clicks, you dont have to worry about google taking away your adsense, unless YOU did the clicks. 8000 impressions is a whole lot, what is the website address?

 

wait, what did I do wrong? I didnt click my own site, you see the group im targeting, word spreads fast and I knew that. So I guess word has spread just form those 12 I have told, the only other advertising I did was in the yahoo chat rooms one day, guess that could have helped a little. What do you mean I will get a email from google? I didnt even do anything wrong I dont think, I just told some people about it and never told them to click.

 

8000 impressions is alot? Ive only had the sight up for like 2 weeks, does that mean 8000 people have been to my site? LOL, I knew it would catch on, but it might do better then I think then.

 

Friends like to help friends by clicking ads, but that is bad and you can get suspended by your friends clicking. 6 clicks from 8,000 impressions is nothing to worry about.

Ok, so if my adsense ad is on the main page, that measn my main page was loaded 8000 times right. I dont even see how that has happened, ive hardly told anyone about it.

If you have a handful of IPs with 8000 impressions and all the clicks, I am guessing that might trip some of the fraud detection checks.

Like I said, don't tell your friends about your site. Finish your site, and then get word out about it.

What is done is done.. Just finish your site and publicize it among the general public not your friends.

I got to be honest, I am scared to even ask the topic of your site.. because I have my suspicions.

 

ive gotton 200 more impressions just in the last 10 mins,lol. How come no1 is clicking my ads though, my ads on the front page arnt even related to the subject, I bet thats why,lol. This is crazy though, people are going to my site somehow.
