Hey guys, I recently launched a new website, its gotten about 4k views now, but only got 18clicks?

    http://beatsiidx.com is the website

Also how do you "specify" keywords for the ads? I can't seem to find a setting for that in adsense. Thanks!

Was it 4k views in a day/month? This is incredible. With this amount of views my CTR would have been 10-30%. I think you need to place ads in the spots where they will be more visible.

One more thing, when I tried to click on the article titles it would give me this message: An error occurred whilst processing this directive.

You may want to fix that. Maybe that's why you have so many visitors and no clicks?

i guess 18 clicks on 4k views is quite good. But still if you want to improve just put the ads where people are most likely to click for example: below the main menu or towards left of your articles etc...But this worsens the user experience on your site..initially you should focus more on quality content so that people come to your site regularly(Just an advice)

Its in the realms of average. The last few days I've been getting about 10-14k impressions and about 20-30 clicks. Not complaining about the money, mind you :)

Put google adsense ads on your site..18 clicks is to low for 4K visitors.

I would scrap the leaderboard banner and put a large rectangle in its spot.
Or even better inside your first post at the top but on the right side of the content. Make the content flow around the Ad.
Also add another Large Rectangle below your first post.

Larger Ad formats tend to do much better then smaller ones: 336x280px > 300x250px > 768x90 > 250x250px > etc....

    Good Luck

are you sure about your target keyword ?
it seems your blog discuss about news and some interesting stuffs and people are enjoying it too.
but i think your visitors come for news not for searching any information so they don't make any attention to the ads.
moreover you are not targeting any specific keywords so ads that appear are irrelevant to the theme of your article content.
remember choosing right keyword is much more important than numbers of visitors

4k pageviews is really good. I have some suggestions for ads placement.

    1. Place one rectangular ad block on start of the post and text wrap it. I mean top of the first post.
    2. Place link unit somewhere on middle of the page.
    3. Place text ads on the bottom of the page.
    4. Make sure that your ads blend in with the color of your theme.

Have you also tried changing the ad size and where you place the ad?

This can often make a huge change.

First to check is the content of your site. Try to research other keyword that is/are frequently searched and of course it's related to your site. Experimenting also your ads placement is a good idea to identify when ads placement have more clicks.

That is the tendency of people having websites and earning from those.... not the one using it :)
