I registered some domains last week and 1 of them that I bought on Friday 5th Oct is not showing me as the Registrant when I check it allwhois.com do I need to worry ? all my others are and have been from the same day i bought them.
Do you mean that another person/company is the registrant or that it is not showing anything at all? Did you register all domains at the same registrar with the same details? Did you by any change use a service which protects your WHOIS information and therefore by default is showing their own details in order to keep your own information private?
Yes another person/company is showing as the registrant, I used my same details to buy 3 domains. Ive got the emailed invoices etc from Netfirms and i can log into the control panels for all 3 domains. I dont now how to launch them yet and make a basic homepage using the free basic hosting they offer, thats another question, can you help ? i am hoping to start some affiliates to gain some experience with webpages/affiliates/adsense etc. cheers
Then I'm guessing that you have turned on their free Whois Privacy, but if you can show me the domain, i will know for sure. If this is the case you don't have to worry, as this is waht whois privacy does, but if it is not, you might have a problem...
