Allowing two links to the same URL

    I'm playihg with a directory and considering having two links for some sites. That is, they would have a single entry in the directory but two links to the same URL, but with different anchor text.

    Is there any reason not to do this?

    The anchor text for the first is generated automatically. If the site owner provides a recip link (or maybe a paid listing), he gets a second link with a choice of anchor text.
