I currently run a Imagehosting site that do not uploading of adult content. but i was wondering of impleting a "not safe for work" button so that if someting is uploaded under "not safe for work" it's not shown anywhere on the site except if linked by the imagelinks after upload. and now i just wanted to ask. could anyting negative come out from allowing / doing this ? or is it just to go on? what do you think?
It will shurely increase traffic. But once you sell it, some people might not buy it, because of that fact. But I highly doubt that, If I were you, I would do it
Well I know one imagehost Imagevenue which use similar method and uploder have to choose Not Safe For Work option for Adult stuff. It will help to visitors and also increase your traffic.
IMO, its not safe. What if someone upload a adult image without the "Not Safe for Work" option? You can not control everything uploaded on your image host.
Your site will be a target for spam and you might get yourself into trouble if someone decides to upload porns related to underage girls. Drop the idea...
