Hello. I currently run a Imagehosting site that do not allow uploading of adult content. but i was wondering of impleting a "not safe for work" button so that if someting is uploaded under "not safe for work" it's not shown anywhere on the site except if linked by the imagelinks after upload. Also, it's flagged in the admin panel as "adult" so i can check that it's no illegal adult content. and now i just wanted to ask. could anyting negative come out from doing this ? also with the thing about flagging the image so i can check it for legal status. what do you think? is it go if i implent that flagging also?
allright! if just some more people could say what they think of this it would be perfect fora decission!
Seems a good idea but will only work if people bother to select the NSFW option. It could be tricky to ensure that.
I had done this for two of my older image hosting sites that I sold. It works fine, and it brings traffic off the roof!!!
What im thinking of is someting like what imagebam use. if the user have not selected "safe for work" or "not safe for work" a window pop's up saying "please choose image content. and if the user then have uploaded adult material "wich i can se because it's flagged in the admin panel" under "safe for work" hes IP will get banned and all images deleted. It's not foolproof no, but atleast it's better. or what do you say?
