Suggestion Allow us to choose different themes for DP

I like the current green one, but maybe DP needs a color change to spice things up.

I was thinking of something like a drop down bar where you can choose between preset themes - Light, Sky, Dark, etc. Will make the forum look diverse :) Just my 2 cents. What do you guys think?

I agree. It needs a naked Penguin theme.

Why naked, don't penguins usually wear tuxedos?

We have to wear them due to the cold environment. When we go on holiday to warmer climates, we're more like this guy:

It's not something we get to see often.

Not going to happen to be honest... Managing multiple themes becomes a lot of work that could be focused on something better. Also, when a site is large enough, there's a pretty big value in consistency for the brand. Imagine if Facebook let users pick a different theme... Just not going to happen.

I love the way it is, clear and professional.. There was a big change in January, I don't believe that will be some big changes in design soon..

More than fair enough. Though this theme/software tends to have a lot of flickering images that crashes Opera (mind you, very specialized - Opera on Linux). I'm not sure if the problem extends to Windows or not, since I don't have access to it.

Strange... Maybe Opera on Linux doesn't handle SVG images well? Have you tried Firefox or Chrome to see if it's something specific to Opera?

Yea it works fine on Chrome and Firefox. It doesn't bother me too much (though it is happening right now). It flicks all the display pictures except my own plus the icons in the editor.

I've been working with SVG a bit in Opera and it tends to work fine, but maybe in large quantities. I just disabled Javascript and that does nothing.
