What's up DP family! I haven't been on here since 2012! So technically, I'm not new, but I feel new since a lot can happen in a decade. I first signed up to DP back in 2009 as a beginning logo designer. Digitalpoint is where I would enter logo design contents just to make some extra cash for my family. DP was definitely a huge foundation in my start as a graphic designer back in high school. I learned so much about logo design, formatting, mascot, character creation, etc. Fast forward to now, I'll be turning 30 soon and I currently have an excellent career as a Senior Graphic Designer. I went to college for Art & Design, worked as a student graphic designer while being there, and then started my corporate career off as a Jr. Graphic Designer when I graduated from college. So big thanks to DP for being a strong foundation in my life. I'm back on DP, so I can hire freelancers from the BST threads and just give back paid opportunities as so many did for me when I was new. But, looks like I'm no longer considered to be an established member (LOL)! Working on it! Looking forward to working with you all!
Welcome back, you'll notice that a lot has changed. The 3 likes system chased a lot of people away and prevented a lot more from signing up. Then Twitter, Facebook, and other social platforms did the rest. All that is happening here these days, are contests and writers looking for work.
